Description :
Kinako is soy flour. This was obtained from peeled soybeans from Hokkaido, making it more fragrant and tasty. Melting in the mouth, it is traditionally used in pastries because it has a naturally sweet and delicious taste, close to peanuts. Kinako is rich in protein and also gluten-free. Flavor: Sweet with notes of peanut, toasted hazelnut and buckwheat.
Use :
Kinako is often sprinkled on mochi, warabimochi or dango, Japanese desserts made from rice flour, but also on kakegori crushed ice, with red bean paste. Delicious mixed with milk and yogurt, it fits easily into your lattes, flan and panna cotta. In pastries such as biscuits and cookies, the taste of kinako will be even more pronounced!
