The DAMAS 10Cr chef's knife has a steel blade with a strength of 60 HRC with a 10Cr steel core (1.05% carbon). This high quality steel is much harder than most premium Western knives, selected for its exceptional properties and remarkable longevity.
Its blade, composed of 67 layers of Damascus unique to each knife and hammered throughout its upper part, is perfectly complemented by a noble olive wood handle. Just as essential as the blade, this handle offers original veining, a striking design and guaranteed comfort when holding it.
Finally, the Japanese acronym engraved on the base of the handle adds an additional touch of prestige and gives a decidedly unique style to your knife.
Wusaki knives are manufactured by a small structure located north of the city of Canton, the capital of Guangdong province, in Western China. This region is historically recognized for its expertise in the production of steel knives.
For maintenance, it is recommended to wash by hand then wipe with a soft cloth. It is not recommended to excessively moisten the handle when cleaning. From time to time, applying a cloth soaked in olive oil to the handle can protect the wood.
