Japanese Whisky - KUJU NEWBORN, 59%, 20 cl
This "Kuju Newborn" is the first product of the Kuju distillery and was hand-bottled by the entire staff. Although the aging period is only 7 months, all the barrels in the aging warehouse are carefully selected and vatted so that consumers can feel the "present and future" of the Kuju distillery. All the selected products are unpeated and aged in oak bourbon barrels. Many people have the impression that Kyushu Island is hot, but the average temperature is relatively low in Kuju because the altitude of the distillery is about 580m or more. Therefore, the aging seems to progress very slowly. We hope you enjoy this cask while thinking about how it will mature and become a "Japanese single malt whisky".
