Kumano Hinoki cask onish is a blended malt composed of a 3 year old malt and a malt
new pot with an additional 6 months of aging in a Hinoki barrel. It is the first Japanese whiskey in the world aged in Hinoki barrels.
The Hinoki (Japanese cypress) is considered a sacred tree in the Shinto religion and
more particularly as the tree of god. Kumano Hinoki Cask Finish is soothing, fresh on the palate, with a honeyed finish.
TASTING NOTES:
DRESS : Light gold.
NOSE: Malty and fresh aromas.
MOUTH : Soft and refreshing, with specific woody notes thanks to the Hinoki barrel finish.
FINAL: Honey and lightness.
