Denki Brand, literally translated as "Electric Brandy", was created in 1893 in the iconic "Kamiya Bar", the oldest Western-style bar in Tokyo. First served as a house cocktail, its fame slowly grew to become the most famous drink of this style of all. Even today, the original recipe remains a closely guarded secret, but the sweet, round and spicy notes clearly demonstrate the expert use of fine brandies and liqueurs to achieve a truly unique cocktail.
