Kinu Tofu, also called Silky Tofu (it has a smooth, creamy consistency), an excellent alternative to eggs and milk. No preservatives, no lactose and no gluten.
Tofu is a widely used ingredient in Japanese cuisine, both for its taste and nutritional qualities. It is a kind of soy cheese. Being a source of protein, it is an excellent substitute for animal production. In addition, it is an excellent dietary food due to its richness in carbohydrates, fibers, vitamins and minerals as well as the presence of omega-3 and its low fat content.
Preparation tips :
Dispose of the water in the container well. For firm tofu, drain the tofu by pressing it, without grinding it, to remove the absorbed water.
Once the tofu is open, it must be kept in the refrigerator, covered with water (to be changed every day before use) in a tightly closed container. It can be kept up to 5 days after opening.
