This Matcha Green Tea powder is a dietary treasure that comes from the orchards of the Uji region, a most prestigious terroir for top quality leaves.
It is a versatile Matcha, which demonstrates sweetness, green intensity and finally low bitterness. Its smell is fresh and flowery, its taste balanced between bitterness and umami. Its herbaceous, round and fragrant flavors make it the ideal Matcha for all kinds of preparation: pastries, cold or hot drinks, lattes, ice creams...
Made with 2nd harvest leaves, it is produced in a covered plantation. To increase the proportion of amino acids in the leaves such as the famous L-Theanine, the tea plants are grown in shade for 3 weeks before harvest.
Matcha has stimulating and invigorating properties that help resist physical and mental fatigue. Cultivated in Uji, Japan, the historic land of Japanese green tea, this Matcha green tea has been cultivated from father to son for generations: a work of craftsmanship carried out by hand to see the tea plants grow.
It comes from the cultivars: Yabukita, Saemidori, Okumidori, Fushun.
